ERS Lite – simple monitoring of temperature and humidity

ERS Lite from Elsys is a discreet, battery-powered LoRaWAN sensor that measures temperature and humidity. The housing is small and plain and goes on a wall or any other flat surface, so it fits into homes, offices and institutions without drawing attention.

The sensor is configured over NFC with a phone, and the battery can be replaced when it runs out.

Key features:

  • Measures temperature and humidity
  • LoRaWAN compatible – long range and low power consumption
  • Up to 10 years of battery life
  • NFC configuration from a phone
  • Discreet housing for a wall or a flat surface
  • Battery included
  • Made in the EU

ERS Lite measures temperature and humidity — not CO₂, light or motion. To measure more, see the other ERS models in the catalogue.

Does the building need wifi?
No. The sensors use low-power radio networks — LoRaWAN for most of them, SmartLink to a Space Hub for the Airthings range. They do not join the building’s wifi or the resident’s.

Where the national LoRaWAN network reaches the address, the sensor works as soon as it is mounted. Where it does not, a gateway provides coverage inside the building.
How do I know whether the address has coverage?
Cibicom runs the national LoRaWAN network in Denmark. Look the address up on the coverage page. If it is covered, you need only the sensor and the subscription. If it is not, you also need a gateway.
Where should the sensor go?
On a warm internal wall, 130 to 180 cm above the floor. Not in direct sunlight during the day, and not above a radiator or another heat source.
What does it cost in total?
The hardware is a one-off purchase. The subscription comes on top of it, invoiced yearly in advance per sensor: CLIMAID SMART costs 300,00 kr a year, CLIMAID SIMPLE 150,00 kr. A gateway, if you need one, is also a one-off purchase. Each product page shows its price.
What does shipping cost, and when does the order arrive?
Shipping is DKK 49 within Denmark and DKK 299 to the EU and the rest of the world, per order whatever it contains. The order arrives 1-2 weeks after you place it. The shipping policy sets it out.

Damp and mould monitoring

Sensor and subscription

Dashboard and app. You see the indoor climate across all your properties in one place. Temperature and humidity are read off your phone or computer, without spreadsheets and without guessing.

Alerts and notifications. You hear about it when a home shows the conditions that lead to damp and mould. That leaves time to act while it is still a matter of airing the room and not a damage claim.

Documented readings. Every reading is timestamped and kept. If a resident complains about damp, or a case has to be documented, you can show what was measured in the home and when.

Support and warranty. You can call or write whenever you need to. The devices carry a warranty, and a sensor that fails is replaced free of charge.

One subscription. The sensor, the app, the alerts and the support are all covered by the same subscription. You set it up once and put a sensor in each home.
